At three months old, Elijah made his first trip down to the Bay Area to meet Papa and Tutu, who were very keen on meeting their first grandson!

Sharing a joke (some Scandinavian humor, no doubt)

Tutu gets to know our little man

She nearly lost her voice reading countless pages of Winnie the Pooh to our big Pooh fan.

Cousin Summer is more like an Auntie to our little ones. She's great with them, of course. Elijah snoozed with her on the ferry to San Francisco. Later, even an exhausted Sydney conked out in her arms for a good hour in the Ferry Building.

Sydney positioned herself right in the front window for the best view of the bridge.

This day was SO windy. We bundled Elijah up in this hoody and laughed at his Yoda-ish look. May the force be with you, buddy.

After one trip with Daddy and then another with Jill on the carousel at Pier 39, Syd still hadn't had enough.

Michael, Hayley, Summer, Sydney, Jill, and me holding little E. See Alcatraz behind us?

After making so many memories of our own playing in the bubbles of Papa and Tutu's jacuzzi tub, my sisters and I couldn't wait to see Sydney's reaction to it. She loved it right up until we turned on the jets
..."No, I don't yike it!" I love that we now have video footage of
two generations of little girls getting sudsy in this tub.

My favorite pic of Hayley and Elijah

What a little stud

Thank you for a wonderful time, Papa & Tutu! We'll be back again soon!
