And this would be why I carry the camera with me everywhere I go...

So...a banner trip to the Beaverton Farmers Market this morning. It's like 95 degrees here for one, plus this is one of the best farmers markets in the Northwest. We're making this a weekly habit this summer. Here are some highlights from our visit today; stick with me till the end, I promise you it'll be worth it (spoiler alert: celebrity sighting below...)

Jeff and I got spicy Hungarian sausages, Drew ate a strawberry Belgian waffle and a lamb falafel, and Jill found an amazing veggie burrito.

As Jill and I finished up purchasing some starts for my herb garden, Drew and Jeff took Sydney to the fountain since she was looking pretty rosy. Drew called us and said, "You need to come here and see this right now." We arrived to see Syd full on standing there in her sundress soaked to the bone - and loving it.

Swimsuits are overrated, huh Syd?

Gorgeous little bathing beauty

The rest of us got a little jealous - looked like a nice way to cool off!

Votes must be pretty hard to come by these days: Chelsea Clinton literally came up to us and was stumping for Sydney's support. The perils of farmers market shopping in a blue state...

Sorry to those of you who missed out. (But for anyone interested, Michelle Obama will be available for photo ops at Boscoe's birthday party this afternoon...)
