My maternal grandfather is one of the greatest characters you'll ever meet. Papa entertains with stories of his boyhood in South Dakota, anecdotes from his {continuing} career as a Bay Area realtor, and tales of his and Tutu's many, many travels to various parts of the globe throughout the years. Good-humoured, generous, wise and big-hearted {and thoroughly Norwegian}, he is quite the patriarch of our family - so we were blessed to join with multiple generations of family and close friends to celebrate his 80th birthday this past weekend. The man is 80 years young...love you, Papa!
