Lions and tigers and ... Boscoe, oh my!

Halloween was fun this time around since it was the first year Sydney had some semblance of what was going on. She got to dress up as her idol, Tigger (though when asked who she was, said "A Tigger costume") and loved seeing her friends dressed up, too - Tigist as Snow White and Mihiretu as Winnie the Pooh, appropriately enough. We took her to 10-12 houses around our neighborhood and then enjoyed pizza with my extended family, who never misses seeing the kiddos all dressed up!

Syd got to dress up in her costume the day before for her playschool class. She didn't quite get the whole thing at this point and dragged her feet: "But I don't want everyone to see me!" She soon changed her tune and bounded out announcing: "Mama, there were two Tiggers!"

Little lion

One of my favorite pictures of Elijah EVER.

Getting their wiggles and giggles out before dark falls and the treat or treating gets underway

Aunt Jill was a Westmont cheerleader ... NOT Lady Gaga, as some might be inclined to believe.
Sydney finally gets the goods, after three Halloweens with nothing. She made this lollipop last for a good 45 minutes and had QUITE the sugar fix afterward. Just ask the Merritt/Bauder clan. Whew.
