We've decided Sydney needs more activities throughout the week to keep her behavior in check and to give her more fun things to look forward to, so we enrolled her in a playschool class one morning a week.

Is this a classic first day pose or what? She was so excited, but then ended up crying for mama for the first
45 minutes of class. Sheesh, child. I swore to her teachers she's not usually
that kid... Afterward I asked her why she was sad and got that small, large-eyed answer that gave me the gulp in my chest:
"I was needing you."We've also got her in ballet again, this time as the youngest of the group so hopefully she's able to watch and learn from the older girls. It's hilarious to me how little real ballet is done in a class this young. But she did learn "pizza feet"...which as anyone with a dance background knows is child speak for "first position." =) It'll be fun to see how much she's learned come the last class in December.
