Sisters Sports Invitational, part 1.

The reason behind it all. Everyone's inspiration to travel to the jewel of central Oregon. The chance to prove oneself superior to the average everyman. The annual opportunity to test one's physical acuity at activities that don't really matter. A day-long sports extravaganza and the brainchild of Scottie Reitmeier. I'd include the link to the web site, but I don't want the integrity of the event to suffer outside perusal. Suffice it to say that you are blessed indeed if you are part of the inside circle of the 2nd annual SSI...a choice few of only 10 individuals.

Morning events:
  1. Soccer
  2. Frisbee Golf
  3. Football
  4. Kickball
  5. Bumpout
The day begins on a serious note as everyone sizes up the competition prior to one of the first events: frisbee golf.

That somber mood quickly deteriorates as Timmy's toss and resulting choice words crack up his fellow participants.

Lisa and Drew strategize their next move.

Nathan lines up another expert shot.

Renee and Tami wind down a bit from the intense competition.

Participants line up for the initial round of bumpout, a new category added to this year's games.

Scott and Drew take it to each other on the court.

Sydney got in the athletic mood as well...(maybe once the tennis racket isn't taller than you, baby girl).
