So long to the 2000s..

I got thinking about all that's happened in our lives in this last decade...it's been a significant one for us! Among the highlights:

• June 2000: Our Juniors Abroad trip to Paris, London & Scandinavia ~ my first time in Europe.


• October 2000: We traveled to Benicia, CA for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary party!


• April 2001: Drew and I graduated from George Fox.


• May 2001: Drew began his career as a real estate agent with The Hasson Company under top broker Bob Laue. I spent the summer as an event intern with Providence Health System's marketing department.


• September 2001: I left for a nearly five-month solo trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.


• February 2002: I went back to work at Providence, hired on permanently.


• March 2002: We traveled to Hawaii with Drew's family and got engaged on the beach!


• November 2002: Our wedding!


• August 2003: A spontaneous road trip from Texas to drive back Drew's car bought on eBay.


• May 2004: Our trip to Italy & Austria with Drew's family - where Nick & Megan got engaged!


• April 2005: A week in Cancun (back at our honeymoon destination) with our good friends, Paul & Lisa.


• May 2005: Nick & Megan's wedding!


• May 2005: Drew ventured out as his own independent broker.
• July 2005: New puggle puppy Boscoe was welcomed into our lives.
• February 2006: Jill moved back to Portland after seven years in California, just in time for the announcement that we were pregnant!


• September 2006: Our first child, Sydney, born! (Perhaps you've heard of her.) =)


• November 2006: I officially quit my job to become a stay-at-home mom.


• December 2006: Nephew Josiah born!


• January 2007: A family cruise to the Caribbean to celebrate my mom and dad's 30th anniversary.


• May 2007: A cross-country trip to New York for my best friend Lisa's wedding.


• November 2007: My first paid gig as a wedding coordinator.


• January 2008: Deviated septum surgery for Drew.
• April 2008: A great trip to Disneyland with Jeff & Kristen.


• September 2008: Hayley and Michael's wedding!


• November 2008: Drew threw me a surprise 30th birthday party.


• January 2009: Elijah born! (We have two kids?!?...)


• October 2009: Niece Sophia born!
