After our Tuesday Motherwise Bible study sessions at church, Hannah, Shannon, Kim and I often take the girls out for lunch as a big, chaotic toddler-girl-and-mommy group. Today we decided to give the restaurant patrons a break and instead turned ourselves loose on Washington Park. After we did the picnic lunch thing, the four girls (all within nine months of each other) ran amok on the huge playground and Rose Garden.
Sydney is a certified slide wuss. It's all she'll talk about, but then she'll just sit there at the top and eye it suspiciously while all the littler girls fly past her with unrestrained glee.

Marisa, I am exhausted from reading this post, probably only a hint of the exhaustion you felt after this month of fear for your little girl. May God continue to keep and guide your little family!
