This is such a huge moment in the lives of our good friends that I had to share: Jeff & Kristen finally received word about their babies! They are adopting siblings from Ethiopia and just received their long-awaited referrals on May 27 (a few days after K's birthday, pictured here!)They are getting a 3 1/2-year-old girl, Tigist, and her 1 1/2-year-old brother, Mihiretu. I'm not allowed to post the photos of the little ones yet because of all the legal-shmegal technical stuff, but let me just tell you that these are the two most beautiful little children you will ever meet!
Jeff & Kristen will travel to Ethiopia to bring home their children around mid-August. We are so excited to welcome these little ones home! And I hope someday Kristen starts a blog about this whole journey they've been on - I think it's worthwhile to hear their heart about how they've gone about this. Very excited for them and for the way it will change all of our lives.
