Now we are across-the-street neighbors from our good friends, the Greenes. Before that, as some of you may recall, at our previous homes we were next-door neighbors. Before THAT, at George Fox, we lived together in college housing - girls in a house across the street from the guys. So we're very close buddies, yet in all that time, we'd never been on vacation together!

So when we had the last-minute chance to join Jeff and Kristen on their trip to Disneyland, we just went ahead and did it...and had a BLAST. After five consecutive trips to Disneyland in five years - the last in March of 2000 - I'd said I was on an embargo from the place until I had kids who were old enough to go. (Which I nearly do, but we decided not quite old enough.) So we did the next best thing and went with a Disneyland-obsessed person. I don't think I can explain to you Kristen's passion for this place: she was literally hoarse and limping by the end of the third day there. But it was awesome and was a trip we will never forget!
