Our baby's one year old! It's unreal. Such a rich and unique year with our little goofball. The morning of her birthday, I had Bethany Fegles come to the house to do a mini photo shoot of the birthday girl. (Check out Bethany's link - she is such an amazing photographer!)
Then came the party. We tried to keep it low-key...I'm a firm believer that a one-year-old doesn't need fireworks and jumping castles. Sydney still seemed a bit overwhelmed but had fun, too. (I've got to say, this September 14th was a lot more fun - and less painful - than last year.) =)

Trying to get all five of these kids to line up for a photo is one of the most chaotic things I've seen in a long time. We'll have to recreate this a few years from now. From left to right (and from youngest to oldest, all about three months apart): Gracie Brownlee, Sophie Rider, Josiah Coleman, Sydney Coleman and Ella Andrewjeski.
